Day 1: Ahmedabad

Arrival in the heritage city of Ahmedabad and check in at the hotel as per standard check-in time. Later, visit Sabarmati Ashram, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi and a center of India’s freedom movement. Explore the Adalaj Stepwell, built in 1499, famous for its intricate carvings and innovative water management system. Then, visit BAPS Swaminarayan Temple (closed on Mondays), a modern architectural marvel reflecting traditional Hindu temple design. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

 

Day 2: Patan – Modera – Ahmedabad

After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Patan and Modhera. In Patan, visit the world-famous Rani ki Vav, a beautifully crafted stepwell built in the 11th century and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Modhera, explore the stunning Sun Temple, built in the 11th century in honor of the Sun God, known for its intricate carvings and architectural brilliance. Return to Ahmedabad in the evening. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

 

Day 3: Ahmedabad – Dwarka (450 km /9hrs)

This morning, we will proceed directly to Dwarka. After reaching Dwarka, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the four sacred Char Dham pilgrimage sites, dedicated to Lord Krishna and known for its magnificent architecture and spiritual significance. Later, visit Gopi Talav, a historic pond associated with the legends of Lord Krishna and the Gopis. Overnight stay will be in Dwarka.

 

Day 4: Dwarka

After breakfast, we will visit Bet Dwarka, an island believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna and an important pilgrimage site. Later, visit the Rukmini Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s consort Rukmini, and the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 sacred Shiva temples in India. In the evening, enjoy Shivrajpur Beach, India’s Blue Flag Beach in Gujarat, known for its pristine sands and clear waters. Overnight stay will be in Dwarka.

 

Day 5: Dwarka – Somnath via Porbandar (250 km / 5 hrs)

After checking out, we will drive to Somnath. On the way, we will stop in Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and a tribute to his life and legacy, and the Sudama Temple, dedicated to Krishna’s childhood friend. Upon arrival in Somnath, visit the Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a historic center of devotion rebuilt several times over centuries. Also, visit Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is believed to have departed from the earth, and Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of three rivers. Overnight stay will be in Somnath.

 

Day 6: Gir (100Km,2Hr)

Today, proceed to Sasan Gir. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later, visit Devaliya Park, a fenced wildlife reserve known for its Asiatic lions, and take the Gir Safari in Gir National Park at your own cost to spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Safari timings are 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 3:30 PM. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

(Note: The park is closed from 15 June to 15 October. Every Wednesday, Devaliya Park is closed.)

 

Day 7 : Diu (100Km,2Hr)

Today, proceed to Diu and check in to the hotel. Later, at leisure, enjoy the wide variety of water sports facilities available at Nagoa Beach, known for its calm waters and scenic beauty. Afterwards, visit St. Paul’s Church, a beautiful 17th-century Portuguese church, the Diu Museum, which showcases the island’s colonial history and heritage, and Diu Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century to protect the island from invaders. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 8: Diu –  Vadodara (400Km/9Hr)

This morning, we will proceed towards Vadodara. On the way, we will stop at Botad to visit Sarangpur Hanumanji, famous for its powerful deity believed to remove suffering, ward off evil, and provide protection. Later, we will check in and stay overnight in Vadodara.

 

Day 9: Statue Of unity – Vadodara

This morning, we will proceed towards the Statue of Unity (100 km, approx. 2 hours). On the way, visit the Narmada Dam and the Valley of Flowers, known for its scenic beauty and colourful landscapes. Explore the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue, and visit its viewing gallery to enjoy panoramic views. In the evening, enjoy the light and sound show that showcases the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Later, return to Vadodara for an overnight stay.

 

Day: 10 Ahmedabad Drop (120Km,3Hr)

This morning, we will proceed to Ahmedabad, with a visit to Poicha Temple, a serene and spiritual site on the way. After the visit, you will be dropped off at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station as per your schedule.
