Spiti Valley Tour Package 8N/9D
Day 1: Arrive Chandigarh
Pick-up from Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station and depart from Chandigarh to Fagu (via Pinjore Garden) by shared vehicle at 12:00 PM. (Only travellers who reach Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station before 12:00 PM will get pick-up) (Approx. 130 km/5 hrs) Check-in at Fagu Hotel. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayan mountain range as well as sunrise and sunset. (Be sure to take warm clothes for the cold.)
Day 2: Fagu – Sangla
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Sangla from Fagu via Narkanda, Kinnaur Gate, Karchham Dam (approx. 200 km. / 7 hours). Arrive in Sangla and rest. On the way, stop for 5 minutes at the beautiful landscaping and viewpoints and take photographs and videography.
Day 3: Sangla – Chitkul Excursion
After breakfast, leave Sangla for Chitkul. (Via Rakcham) (Approx. 24 km / 2 hours) This entire route passes through mountains and forests and is full of very beautiful view points and locations. There are many camps on the banks of the Bspa river near Rakcham. Chitkul is the last and most beautiful village of India adjacent to the Tibetan border. After enjoying the sights and natural beauty of Chitkul, return to Sangla.
Day 4: Sangla – Tabo
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Tabo from Sangla. (Approx. 210 km/7.30 hrs) On the way to Tabo, visit the monastery of Nako village and Nako Lake. This lake freezes in winter and ice hockey games are organized on it in winter. On the way from Nako to Tabo, take a group selfie near the Spiti Entry Gate Selfie Point near Sumdo village, 12 km ahead. After visiting the 500-year-old mummy (Gyu Monastery and Padmasabhav Temple, arrive at Tabo and check-in at the hotel and rest.
Day 5: Tabo – Kaza / Rangrik
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart from Tabo for Kaza/Rangrik. (Approx. 50 km/2.30 hrs.) On the way, visit Tabo Monastery, Tabo Caves, Dhankar Monastery and then arrive at Kaza/Rangrik.
Day 6: Kaza Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit local sights around Kaza like Ki Monastery, a famous educational center of Tibetan Buddhism, Kibber, Hikkim (the world’s highest post office), Chicham Bridge (Asia’s highest suspension bridge), Comic Village (the highest motor able village) and Langza (a giant statue of Buddha) and then return to the hotel after visiting Kaza Monastery.
Day 7: Kaza – Theog
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Theog from Kaza/Rangrik. (Approx. 400 km/12 hrs) Overnight stay in Theog or its surrounding villages as per availability of hotels/rooms.
Day 8: Theog – Chandigarh
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Chandigarh from Theog. (Via Kufri/Shimla) (Up until the vehicle leaves, then at your own expense) Enjoy the beautiful views of apple orchards and romantic locations and drop off at your hotel in Chandigarh. Your vehicle will drop you off at your hotel in Chandigarh and return immediately. The next day, take a taxi/rickshaw from the hotel to the airport/railway station and reach at your own expense.
Day 9: Chandigarh Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Chandigarh and take a taxi/rickshaw from the hotel at your own expense to reach Chandigarh Airport or Chandigarh Railway Station on time.
