Himachal Tour Package – 5 Day
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi and drive to Dalhousie (12hrs.)
We start our journey from Delhi Station or Airport towards Dalhousie. This fascinating hill station lies in the lap of Himachal Pradesh. It is known for its rich colonial architecture and beautiful churches like St. John’s and St. Francis’ Church. The semblance of Tibetan culture adds an exotic touch to this serene destination. Moreover, spectacular forest trails, waterfalls, and springs make this place astonishing. The Mall road offers a good place to shop for Himachali shawls, woollens, Tibetan handicrafts, and traditional jewellery. After reaching the hotel, we freshen up and enjoy the evening amidst snow-capped peaks with a hot cup of tea. We spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2 : Dalhousie – Khaijjiar – Chamba – Dalhousie
Post breakfast, you will go for a day trip to the amazing locations of Khajjiar and Chamba town. Chamba is a small yet attractive tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, known for its exquisite natural beauty. The Sub-Himalayan range of mountains, full of diverse flora and fauna, makes Chamba an exhilarating experience. Moreover, the magnificent temples reflect the opulence of the Rajput kings from the medieval period. Chamba is also known for its local festivals, Sui Mata and Minjar. ‘Mini-Switzerland of India,’ Khajjiar, is a tiny tourist resort in Chamba, about 24 km from Dalhousie at an altitude of 6,500 ft.
Confronting the backdrop of dense pines, deodars, and lush green meadow, Khajjiar nestles impeccably in the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the Western Himalayas. It provides tourists a unique combination of forests, lakes, and pastures. Its natural beauty and picturesque landscape will leave an everlasting impression on you. Adventure seekers can enjoy various activities like paragliding, horse riding, zorbing, and trekking. Return to Dalhousie for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Dalhousie to Dharamsala (05hrs.)
After breakfast, we will hit the road to Dharamshala. Situated at an average altitude of 1,475 meters above sea level, Dharamshala lies on the scenic stretch of land in Kangra Valley, captivating tourists with its astounding beauty. Often cited as the ‘Little Lhasa of India,’ Dharamshala is popularly known as the holy residence of the exiled Tibetan monk Dalai Lama. With the breathtaking Dhauladhar ranges as a backdrop, Dharamshala is one of the most tranquil destinations in North India, offering a perfect amalgamation of natural beauty and culture.
Surrounded by thick deodar cedar trees and snowcapped peaks, the quaint city attracts thousands of tourists to beat the summer blues. Dharamshala offers local sightseeing, including the Stadium, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Waterfall, Bhagsunag Temple, Dalai Lama Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Market, and the War Memorial. Enjoy the evening with your loved ones in the serene beauty of nature, sipping tea and savoring appetizing snacks. Stay overnight.
Day 4 : Dharamshala Local (Jwalaji – Kangra Fort )
This morning after breakfast will Start our Day with Blessing of goddess Jwala Ji than Kangra fort ( Jain temple ) & evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.
Day 5 : Dharamsala to Delhi Drop (10hrs.)
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Delhi by road. On arrival you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back to home.
